New Classes, New Legends, New Ways to Play

Inspired by an age of intellectual curiosity and mysterious occult practices, our two original classes, the studious Astrologer and the revered Mystic , bring an entirely new dimension of roleplay to your table

The Astrologer

Harness the power of the stars with this intelligence-based class. Choose between two houses: the Divination Warrior or the Astral Spellbinder.

Astrologers are academics obsessed with unraveling the universe's mysteries. Guided by celestial bodies and equipped with their knowledge of astrophysics, they are formidable combatants and divinatory spellcasters.

The Divination Warrior

INT

DEX

With confidence and certainty, a nimble warrior, his head shrouded by a red scarf marches toward a group of bandits. Anticipating their every move, he parries their blades, sidesteps their grapples and strikes with precision; disarming the leader with a swift swing of his chained blade, adorned with his beloved astrolabe while his gold-embelished robes flaps in the desert wind.

Divination Warriors split the focus of their studies from being solely invested in intellect and the study of the stars, to bolstering their combat skills with the aid of their divinatory abilities. They usually have an existing background that has training in combat or dedicated time honing both their minds and their bodies. Because of their extraordinary ability to foretell a possible future, a Sheikha or Emir will sponsor the training of an Astrologer to use them as their personal bodyguards, or to captain a band of swordsmen. Some Astrologers who follow this path, craft an Astrolabe into the hilt of their scimitars, reinforcing their commitment to the study of both disciplines.

The Astral Spellbinder

INT

WIS

Clad in scholarly robes that signify her university rank, a Khaleeji turns the dials on her Astrolabe, matching the alignment of the night’s sky. The reading creates a starlight arcane blueprint of the surveyed area, foretelling the possibilities of how the next moment is to unfold and how the sentry guards are going to act.

Astral Spellbinders’ divinatory abilities are enhanced to a level, that time seems to stand motionless, as the weaves of fate unravel before them. Their astrolabes are now extensions of their being, allowing for a seamless connection to the stars above. Spellbinders tend to prefer isolation, to be unbothered and unhindered in their pursuit of fully understanding the mysteries of the heavens above. Some may seek out willing patrons that will fund their research, thereby allowing them to continue their studies in a more comfortable environment. In exchange the Spellbinder will offer their divinatory services to these patrons. Aiding them in matters of politics, finance, and personal matters.

The Mystic

Delve into the depths of the occult with this summoning, charisma-based class and choose between two Sects of Mysticism: the Sect of Fanaa’ (طائفة الفناء) or the Sect of Wehda (طائفة الوحدة).

Mystics are devout fanatics of an ancient and fringe order of black magic practitioners. Through years of ritualistic prayer and access to a line of occult lore, they are able to summon and parlay with the Unseen to leverage their mastery as potent spellcasters.

The Sect of Fanaa’

CHA

WIS

Draped in ragged vestiges, a Levantine cultist utters obscure incantations, summoning a fiendish spectral form. She commands the unpredictable creature to hurl a fireball at a horde of eldritch abominations to which the Unseen sorcerer begrudgingly complies. The spell is overwhelmingly spectacular, defying the expectations of the summoner, while the slain foes shriek and writhe with charred wounds.

Being able to communicate and leverage the influence of the Unseen is a rare ability, but fully exploiting the potent and spellcasting power of a malevolent entity hellbent on destruction requires unequivocal dedication to the practices of Mysticism coupled with an unflinching emotional aptitude and spiritual vigor. Being able to control and assuage such wicked entities are not so easily achieved even for the most supreme and enlightened of Mystics. The Unseen that these Mystics communicate with are powerfully adept spellcasters, capable of waging deadly destruction out of pure spite.

The Sect of Wehda

CHA

INT

A white-bearded sage, clothed in an oversized pearlescent kandora closes his eyes. His voice alters pitch to a harmonious song that calls upon three beautiful humanoid creatures. Their long cascading hair drape along their flowing white kaftans as they triangulate around a fallen ally. With beams of healing light binding them all, the spell’s effect is trebled causing their target to rise and his enemies to sear in anguish from the divine power.

Not all Unseen have aspirations of wanting to peek beyond the veil. Some are devout followers of the laws of Balance, refraining from interfering with the matters of the material plane. These entities, beautiful to behold, are equally powerful spellcasters though their modicum of magical execution is strictly focused on the betterment of those around them. Thus, their abilities favor spells of healing, auras of benevolent might, that inspire and uplift and weapons of divine light.
